001-150 Highlights/Recaps
- 001 Lam Siu Siu is from accounting and confronts Koo Hui-san on missing deadline for submission for expenses. She is only one that talks back that the video gets posted where she says she needs to leave by 5:45. Lam Yi-mak her uncle moves in and she goes pickup a package from him at his old place. There she is confronted by his loan sharks.
- 002 Lam Siu Siu thinks Chiu Lei-hung is in danger of getting fired since she was the one that shared the video but was really a setup by Koo Hui-san. Lam Siu Siu helps her by helping Koo Hui-san do the group expenses for reimbursement. She realizes he did all that to make the staff better.
- 003 Lam Siu Siu confronts the production team for taking things from other department. She later sees the staff accidently take the Boss's watch. When confronted they find that the watch is fake and the original one that was to be used. Later the find out that the Boss took the watch back from the office and didn't tell anyone.
- 004 Lam Siu Siu loses her phone which has a lot of secrets from work she recorded. Ko Hui-san's father is the one that got it from a friend that found it. He later goes to her house to fix their electronics.
- 005-006 Lam Siu Siu tries to help a friend Joanne that she think will be fired but in reality the friend just wanted her promotion.
- 007 Lam Siu Siu transfers to Koo Hiu-san's department
- 008 Lam Siu Siu try to fight for everyone's benefits of vacation. Despite victory, everyone works for Koo Hui-san despite them taking vacation.
- 009 Lam Siu Siu gets stomachache from drinking soup from Koo Hui-san's father soup and Lam Yi-mak takes her to clinic
- 010-011 Lam Siu Siu gets embarrass when she is put on a blind date without her knowledge and Koo Hui-san witness it. Cui Wai wants to get a host position and to show he has ability to attract viewers he pursues Lam Siu Siu. Lam Siu Siu misunderstands and finds out and yells at Ko Hui-san. Reporters find out and spread rumor that they are dating. Ko Hui-san doesn't reject that Lam Siu Siu position that women are not materialistic in love.
- 012 Lam Siu Siu goes to borrow luggage for the show from Anthony Wong a well known actor
- 013 Koo Hui-san's father plays chess with Lam Yi-mak. He ends up fixing electronics for him. Lam Siu Siu says he shouldn't cheat the elderly. We find out that he doesn't care and just enjoys the company. It indirectly shows Koo Hui-san and his father's relationship. Even though they don't seem to relate but they care about each other. Similar to chess only the players know whats happening and outsiders don't understand
- 014 Lam Siu Siu gets into the sticker gift claiming fad for a telephone but fails at it since all the phones were claimed.
- 015 Ciu Wai loses a diamond earning. Everyone thinks its Ping that did it since she is wearing earning that looks like it. We later find out the Ciu Wai faked since he was tight on cash. Koo Hui-san recovers that earning and pretends that they found it to help Ciu Wai.
- 016 Lam Yi-mak history as very good makeup artist. He avoids Anthony Wong who like his makeup because Wong lent him 150K.
- 017 Lam Yi-mak goes back to being a makeup artist. He does the make up for Anthony Wong who says he's been waiting for him.
- 018 The assistant Tong learns not to have an attitude. He needs to do work and respect others to get respected.
- 019 Ping goes back to visit and Koo Hiu-san goes with the family to show support after a talk with Lam Siu Siu
- 020-021 Lam Siu Siu wants everyone to recyle. The TVI boss get into trouble that he is not environmentally friendly. Wan Fei Fei appears as a consultant. She changes his image and is successful.
- 022 Everyone thinks Koo Hui-san's father has alzheimer 's
- 023 Lam Yi-mak avoids the actor thinking back then she had a crush on him. Later we find out she did that to everyone to help her in her career. Therefore it was just his misunderstanding.
- 024 Koo Hui-san's wardrobe is prepared by his father. So his image is want his father gives him to wear.
- 025 Lam Siu Siu trys to keep Ping working for her as domestic helper thinking Koo Hui-san is taking her away to work for him
- 026 Tong Chong-shu ex-girlfriend Emma/Yan shows up and is about to get married but is freak out. She always though that Tong Chong-shu used excuse of work and thought he was lying. Lam Sui Sui shows Emma his birthday party where he is not there because of work. Therefore he is always like that. Emma forgives him.
- 027 Chiu Lei-hung moves downstairs to Lam Sui Sui's apartment.
- 028 Wan Fei Fei helps Ko Hui-san get a international sponsorship the he wants. He is unwilling cave under the pressure of the budget to cater to the sponsor. Wan Fei Fei gets hired by TVI.
- 029-030 Wan Fei Fei (Vivian) & Ryan first day at work and rumor circulate they will fire 50 people. Later we find out it is not true. The elderly person we thought was fire just did early retirement because he was to embarrassed to say he was getting married. Koo Hui-San thinks Vivian is very scheming to get the people on her side this way.
- 031 Lam Sui Sui is overly concern with Koo Hiu-san and trys to warn him that his is wearing underwear (that she indirectly found out) that is defective causing his itching. This is all a misunderstanding but it does sound weird that they are in such a relationship when she says it at a meeting.
- 032 Lam Yi-mak get in trouble with an old actor who says he got a rash from his makeup and held a grudge against him for taking lotto winnings in the past. Later it is cleared up with help of Ko Hui-san. He help Lam Yi-mak to make up because of the misunderstanding. Many years ago Lam Yi-mak lent him money for a shoot and accidentally left the lotto ticket that won with him. It was washed therefore invalid.
- 033-034 Lam Yi-mak gets initiated into the secret boy's club. In the beginning he thought there was a ghost which they guys try to scare people away from their hideout. Lam Yi-mak thinking that he needed to be good for the ghost to not bother him he becomes nice to everyone therefore getting accepted by the guys.
- 035 Chiu Lei-hung goes to the building meeting and makes them spend money for a new security and new security cameras. Everyone doesn't like it but later on when they catch a thief they welcome her comments.
- 036-037 KC attempts to steal document from Koo Hiu-san and uses Lam Siu Siu to give him fake information.
- 037 Lam Siu Siu accidently overhears that Ciu Wai and Koo Hui-san script reading and misinterprets they are gay. She try to keep the secret by telling a statue but is overheard by blabbermouth Lam Yi-mak who promises not to tell anyone. Next day everyone at work is spreading the rumor and thinks Lam Siu Siu is the one that exposed it.
- 038 Lam Siu Siu works a lot to compenstate. Lam Yi-mak wants to find the culprit that spread the secret and reclaim both their innocence. We later find out it was KC. Lam Siu Siu upset he never trusted her takes Wan Fei Fei's offer to be her secretary
- 039 Koo Hui-san and his father's relationship. A relative brags how his son is good to him but later the son just doesn't want to be with him. Koo Hui-san's father says you need to give the kid space.
- 040 Koo Hiu-san's father only eats instant noodle. Lam Siu Siu ends up including him in her dinners and cooking for him.
- 041 The coffee shop owner's sister does coupons
- 042-043 Kai Lai the scriptwriter aims to be director in a competition.
- 043 Backdrop story of Wan Fei Fei on how she meet Koo Hiu-san and started working with him
- 044-045 Chiu Lei-hung gets drunk since her husband can't come back and spend time with her. Lam Yi-Mak takes her to the guys hideout when he thinks she forgot her keys.
- 046 Koo Hui-san wants his show to be real without catering to whims of management. Wan Fei Fei challenges him that if he could get high ratings on the Tofu grandma (Dow Fu Por Por) she will back down. He wins by getting a top movie star to go there gaining a wide audience.
- 047 The staff gets chance to do upward feedback. The Prop assistant gets work abuse from the Head prop guy. When he gets call to the office thinking he is going to get fire but in reality the assistant actually praised him to upper management since he really learn a lot from him.
- 048 They hire a new assistant Yan Yan
- 049 Koo Hiu-san is misinterpreted as a food critic but he really just eats anything and and can't taste anything.
- 050 The new producer wants to get new staff. The team somehow gets it so that they don't get picked.
- 051 Shows Kai Lei being as one of the guys but this is to make it easier to do work.
- 052 Ryan becomes the guy that the females deem manly when he changes the tire in car so that Wan Fei Fei is not stuck in traffic, It also shows how they end up working together.
- 053 Ryan does a degrading commercial for a customer. Wan Fei Fei eventually gets it so it doesn't air without getting on bad terms with the customer.
- 054 Lam Siu Siu cooks for Lam Yi-mak
- 055 They do a anniversary show about a son that wants to be bread maker but the father is upset and doesn't want him to follow his footsteps. Later the father understands and is proud of his son. This was a father's day.
- 056-058 TVI makes a new cooking show. He finds Green who likes organic food and gets him to be the new host of the show.
- 059-60 Koo Hiu-san gets Green to do a 15 min cooking show since previously he spends too much time and wants to do everything for real wasting everyone's time
- 060 Daisy pretends to be her brother who was a singer for her sick mom.
- 061 KC uses Tong Chong-shu and realizes he is just too workaholic making him work too much. He misses Terry pace and returns him to Koo Hiu-san.
- 062 Shows how Ciu Wai and Koo Hui-san first meet.
- 063-064 The nice Lam Wo is close with Wan Fei Fei and backs him up making people think he is her son. Lam Wo stays at Koo Hui-san to help his father with therapy. He moves in with them. Koo Hui-san misreads that Lam Wo is their son since she treats them so well..
- 065 Lam Yi-mak try to pursue Daisy. He is able to have dinner and watch a show with her mother and her for her Birthday because the Boss can not spend it with her.
- 066 An actor is exposed by her hairdresser who is selling secrets. They do a special exposing him and help the actor.
- 067 Elsa has a crush on Tong Chong-shu and somehow becomes Koo Hui-san's new secretary when the assistant prop guy fakes a bulletin board ad so she is the only one applying for the job since he has a crush on her.
- 068-070 The Boss's girlfriend Coco leaves the dog in care of Lam Wo. The Boss rips his pants due to its tightness and while his secretary went to get new ones the media came. Afraid he climb to the next room and left leaving the door open and the dog go missing. Coco blames it on Lam Wo. Everyone wants to fight for Lam Wo since he is a good kid. Later it is discovered that Coco always hated the dog but it was not missing but with the father. We also find out that Lam Wo is Koo Hui-san's nephew.
- 071-072 They try to do a show on wife abuse. Somehow this gets the Makeup Head get in trouble with his wife. They setup the Prop Head since it sound like he wife is the best and believe everything he does. Astonishing she believes him regardless of the fake pictures. They also find out at this time the wife is the tea house owner's sister.
- 073 Despite Koo Hui-san's bad temper he never uses vulgar language everyone speculates why and think it was because of them. The real reason is because of Tong Chong-shu. When he first transfer to his team he even work while visiting mom at her cemetery.
- 074 Lam Wo resolves crisis of missing lipstick by helping out a top movie star that had the limited edition lipstick hid the fact she had fugus nails.
- 075-076 Elsa gets in trouble because she rely on Sui Sui to submit form to accounting department. Unfortunately it didn't happen and when Tong Chong-shu got into an accident it wasn't cover under insurance because they never bought it timely.
- 077 Chiu Lei-hung husband seem to have been caught having an affair, but claims it is not true when confronted. They believe him and the whole team make a show to lie to Hung so that a video evidence will not meant anything. Last scene husband is talking in secret at night to someone on phone (see episode 112-113 for related episode cont.)
- 078 The Head of props thinks is wife is pregnant but she isn't. We see they care about each other a lot as he rather have his wife then the baby if he had to choose.
- 079-080 Green wants to use Salad as cooking topic Koo Hui-san objects. He gets in accident where they remove something from his nose that causes him to get the feeling of taste back. Last shoot we seem him trying the fresh stawberries Sui Sui bought for him
- 081-082 Koo Hui-san with his new sense of taste tries to get home to try Sui Sui's cooking as he can taste now. Green injures his hand and suggust Sui Sui as replacement. Vivian doesn't like this as she and Koo Hui-san is getting close. She calls HR to issue a warning letter for not showing up for work (she tears up the vacation request claming she never got it) but later revokes it. HR is friends with Sui Sui and tells her about it commenting it is not good to be her enemy and to be careful. Sui Sui hands in her resignation letter to work as the full time cooking host/consultant.
- 083 This shows Ciu Wai's professionalism
- 084 Elsa thinks it is unfair that Tong Chong-shu is being mistreated by Koo Hui-san so she gives him bad coffee etc. After Sui Sui heart to heart talk, Elsa doesn't retaliate. In the end when told of the reason Koo Hui-san says to Sui Sui " do you think she will win against me" Sui Sui replies that his to Tong Chong-shu you are on a pedisal.
- 085 KC & Koo Hui-san during their fights accidentally hits the Boss with a shoe while walking with the board of directors. As a result they are force to cooperate to show they can work together for the anniversary show cooperate blow budget
- 086 Lam Sui Sui is worried that her cooking show is a failure and there is no budget. Koo Hui-san tells her to not to worry and he'll take care of it. It is cute how this all sounds like husband and wife. Later we find out it was a great success and they actually got more money from other sponsors.
- 087 Auntie Ping finds out her daughter is a action stunt woman
- 088-089 Terry gets promoted to to acting director. Everyone say Koo Hiu-san is mean in not promoting Tong Chong-shu which basically is lacking control of the team since everyone just ignores him. Later Tong Chong-shu is tested indirectly by Koo Hiu-san (demonstrate he can do it by doing one of the shows). Lam Sui Sui says need to let them just do it if always by side don't give them opportunity to demonstrate. Tong Chong-shu gets promoted to director by getting support by everyone.
- 090 Lam Yi-mak pisses off the Boss who when they are on outside film shoot says he doesn't want to be in same car as him. Koo Hiu-san tells other driver to wait for him which they don't since Lam Yi-mak not good terms with them. He extracts Koo Hiu-san in bathroom in missing nowhere as revenge. Sui Sui saves him and he forgives Lam Yi-mak probably because of Siu Siu
- 091-092 Wan Fei Fei rejects a Moon Cake Sponsor. When she was a consultant she found out the company was reusing expire/bad moon cakes from other brands to make theirs. Wan Fei Fei gains trust in Ryan and gives him her keys so he can feed her goldfish while she is away. Koo Hui-san gets a tip about them and does a story about them. Ryan tries to stop it because Wan Fei Fei witness it and the Moon Cake Boss might think she did it and seek revenge. Later when the story is about to go out Wan Fei Fei gets attacked and Ryan comes in time to her house to save her. The story goes on since they are going to that extend to threaten Wan Fei Fei. Koo Hui-san says to Ryan that even though he and Wan Fei Fei are not on same page, she was someone he cared about in the past and doesn't want any harm to happen to her. Wan Fei Fei is outside the office and hears this. She walks away smiling.
- 093 Search for Good person for the show if one exists. End up Lam Wo saves someone and ends up on TV. Give phone to grandfather.
- 094 Aunt Ping finds out daughter is a Stunt women
- 095 Lam Wo's mommy makes an appearance when she tries frantically to find the watch she lost at a taxi. Lam Wo being the nephew of the Koo family is revealed
- 096 Lam Siu Siu cooks for the Boss, it hints that Koo Hiu-san is jealous because he confronts Boss about it all the extra work
- 097 Yan Yan tries to prove herself even though she is afraid of ghosts
- 098 Lam Wo witness the Koo family speak harshing at each other but later on is fine. He realizes that that is what real family member is. He tells his mom he was alway nice and never said anything because he wanted mom to be happy and not cause trouble.
- 099 The boss promotes Chiu Lei-hung vs. Lam Yi-mak but at the end Lam Yi-mak gets the promotion when he learns his leason that he should not hold grudge and just do his job.
- 100 Ciu Wai looks bad that everyone else from his old acting class is doing great and he is still a no body, he get opportunity to leave TVI but decides to stay
- 101-102 Lam Sui Sui has been gaining favoritism due to her food while Cafeteria guy has his food compared to hers. Cafeteria guy has a competition with Lam Sui Sui and wins with hamburger with his daughter being judge. At the end he offers more choices in the cafeteria based on promise with Sui Sui.
- 103 Ka Lei actually kisses Terry but he doesn't know it think it was the prop assistant. KC doesn't tell Terry. This episode Ka Lei actually admits she has feelings for Terry but doesn't want to start but the props assistant Ah Chi doesn't get it.
- 104 Lam Yi-mak does a petition for better benefits at TVI
- 105 Coco takes Boss's money and uses a fake bag to pass it off as real but fails. Later she steals a real one from a purse fan at the accounting team but the crew manages to get it back by faking Vivian lost it so Coco ditches it because there was going to be a lockdown search.
- 106-108 the story about Wan Fei Fei and Koo Hiu-san when they were young and the romance and misunderstanding
- 109 Koo Hiu-san and Wan Fei Fei from the past slept together but Koo Hiu-San misinterprets when he picks up a call that is his brother saying he is at her place. Ko Hiu-San doesn't take out the video they use to do by request of some old producer for a ceremony. Wan Fei Fei ends up going with Ryan who picks her up after her flashback ends.
- 110 Coco has an affair with the new producer (forgot name) and KC is sent to the outskirts of TVI because Coco frames him for touching her when he was drunk to avoid having her secret told. KC does not take Terry with him and has the producer take care of him. Last scene we see the producer has a tatooo I love Coco on his back.
- 111 Lam Siu Siu pretends to be lovers with Ciu Wai to attract advertisers. Koo Hiu-san stages it so he and Siu Siu shows up on cover and tells her she can not have any rumors with anyone else for the sake of the show. We know better that it probably is his jealousy that is causing this action.
- 112-113 Chiu Lei-hung thinks that her husband is having an affair with some rich girl (girl in video in episode 77). Just when she about to confront the women in public Ryan stops her telling her that she is really the third party and the rich women was married to him 18 years ago and her 8 year marriage is not legal. Also her husband is really a rich 2nd generation. She forgives her husband and gives him time to resolve the relationship since we know that her husband really loves her and the other marriage was a forced political one.
- 114 Kai Lei gets promoted, everyone whats to surprise her. Terry doesn't know misunderstands that she will be fired. Later the truth is out and Terry ask for a date. Kai Lei finally gives him a chance. She flips thru hand made menu with stuff she like to eat.
- 115 Lam Yi-mak wants his staff to respect him which they don't he resolves it by standing up for them which works. This is the price he has to pay for them to acknowledge him as their head of the makeup department.
- 116 Tong Chong-shu scares the bosses sister and when he is about to get in trouble they mistake that the prop's assistant is the culprit. Later it alludes that they look a like. We later find out the Tong Chong-shu ex-girlfriend Yan broke up with her fiance and will be coming to work at TVI
- 117 Yan is hated by the girls at TVI thinking she is underhanded when there is a TVI female pagent that she didn't even know she participated in. Later the girls find out and are ok with her since she complain to the boss and wanted to be dropped out or she will legally do something about it.
- 118 Terry finds out that CoCo and the other producer is having an affair. KC loses his drive working at the morning show staff department that is super lay back. But Terry gets KC to pick up himself and be the once glorious KC he follows.
- 119 Lam Siu Siu gets a new manager because she realizes she signed her contract allowing Koo Hiu-san to control what she does (she had to do horrible shoots for Dina another producer. It is awkward, last scene they ended up alone together for mooncake festival on the roof.
- 120 Lam Siu Siu's old boyfriend (Ding) comes back. He is rich guy and at the end he wants her to be mother of his kid. They broke up because Lam Siu Siu can't have kids and a friend tricked him and lied that she was pregnant. They really love themselves back then.
- 121 Ton Chong-shu tries to avoid Elsa. She realizes he does not like her when he is willing to pay someone premium to translate even when she is willing to do it for free. After trying to get close to him she realizes in order to do that she has to let go.
- 122 Ding offers Lam Sui Sui head executive chef at his place. She turns Koo Hiu-san invite to advertisement ball to go out with Ding and his daughter. At end Lam Sui Sui turns down offer but Ding says ok but his other offer for her to be his daughter's mom will be open only for her and he will wait.
- 123 Coco get offended by prop head that she is fat and unattrative compare to his wife. Coco tries to get revenge. prop assistant finds out coco is having affair witht he new producer.
- 124 Lam Siu Siu gets to switch her meetings from Friday to Wednesday to hang out with friends to do nails and gossip. Basically learning not to be a pushover.
- 125 Ko Hui-san almost quits and goes over to the new tv production company. He ends up staying if the boss doesn't fire Lam Wo since he broke the feng shu setup that was suppose to stop the people from quitting the station.
- 126 Wan Fei Fei (Vivian) is addicted to playing the game catching fish (similar to pokemon go) and Ryan secretly helps her gather all of them.
- 127 Lam Sui Siu helps Ko Hui-san get rid of lice
- 128 The team exposes Coco's affair with the yoga instructor Alex. Coco was having affair with the new producer and the yoga instructor. Since the new producer was good to Terry they didn't expose his identity. KC does not wish to return since he likes his weather lady in his morning program.
- 129 Lam Sui Sui renews her contract.
- 130 Ko Hui-san/ Ping misunderstands that Tong likes Mon Mon (Ping's daughter). The reality is that he really wants to learn kung fu from her.
- 131-133 Ding sponsors Lam Siu Siu show and they host the show together. It shows how they meet. Lam Yi-mak doesn't like Ding getting close with his niece due to their breakup in the past. Lam Siu Siu and Ding were about to get married but find out Lam Siu Siu can't have children. She runs away to think but Ding in drunk state thinks he slept with the cousin who always had a crush on him. We later find out Ding took out loans etc to pay Lam Yi-mak for a 3T (racehorse gambling) that didn't really win the grand prize to indirectly get him to buy a house as compensation for Lam Siu Siu. The cousin wasn't pregnant and she actually left him after finding out he was broke.
- 134 Ciu Wai always wanted to be a singer but never got a chance. The team wants him to sing for their show but the boss' sister wants a relative to do it instead. Ko Hui-san insists and Ciu Wai gets to sing.
- 135 Lam Yi-mak finds out Chiu Lei-hung husband is the rich guy. Chiu Lei-hung almost gets scam by paying ransom to a fake kidnap of her husband. Her husband gives up family fortune to be with her.
- 136-138 It is the story of how Tong Chong-shu meet his ex-girlfriend Emma. Basically when his mom died the place he hired lost his mom's picture that was to be used. He meets her as a lawyer that helps him. They breakup because Tong Chong-shu realizes that she is stress and not the same confident and happy self trying too hard to accept their relationship where he always cancels due to work. The lighting staff sues TVI for 3 hours of overtime to prove to his wife he was really working. Emma now understands why everyone works so hard. She and Tong Chong-shu get back together.
- 139 Lam Wo choose between being hairdresser or makeup artist for his permanent position. He ends up picking being apprentice under Lam Yi-mak as makeup artist.
- 140-141 Ko Hui-san gets an interview with some prince on the hiding due to political uprising which is dangerous. Lam Siu Siu gets worried knowing about it. She gets sick and Ding takes care of her. Lam Yi-mak and Chiu Lei-hung realizes that Lam Siu Siu like Ko Hui-san which she just gets a mere phone call. Ko Hui-san asks Tong Chong-shu what does it mean when someone walks for 2 hours to just make a phone call to a girl to report safety (which is what he did). The answer was because that he/she really likes that person. (cont. 147)
- 142 Chiu Lei-hung gets nominated for the most important employee which she doesn't want and she sabotages her chances of winning.
- 143-144 Ding wants Lam Siu Siu to go to Malaysia with him. Ko Hiu-san keep trying to make the terms unfavorable but Ding accepts. He spends 1 million to sponsor her so the TV station will allow it. Thinking that Ko Hiu-san is replacing her with someone incompetent in cooking she confronts him. He says he always assume she would not go. Lam Siu Siu is reveled at this and decides not to go the Malaysia with Ding and realizes he does a lot of things in the background for her but never says anything about it.
- 145 Basically they have a contest walking up stairs and Ko Hiu-san is in bad shape. Tong Chong-shu saves the day even though everyone thinks he is the slowest. We find out they used old times as a gauge but fail to notice that he was slow because he carried all the equipment meanwhile Ko Hiu-san carried nothing that time.
- 146 Chiu Lei-hung and Ping almost become god daughter/mother.
- 147 Lam Siu Siu finds the cd that Ko Hiu-san sent himself that has his last words when he did his interview (140-141) that basically somewhat confesses his love for her. Unfortunately there was no sound on the part he wanted to leave with Lam Siu Siu. Lam Siu Siu gets a interpreter which says nothing much but he was really hired by Ko Hiu-san to misdirect her so she doesn't know what he truly said.
- 148 Lam Yi-mak use to act in a x-rated movie long time ago but someone in the group exposes it. We find out it was Ciu Wai who expose Lam Yi-mak to no one knows he was in it. Everyone thinks Lam Yi-mak was the masked main character but it was really Ciu Wai. Both of them agree to keep it a secret. Later the film is deemed to be an artwork.
- 149 Vivian gets her ex-husband a photographer to cooperate so they can get a Korean gig. Ryan finds outs that all her ex-husbands are elites and that he stands no chance. We find out that Vivian divorced the ex-husband because he didn't go with her to look at glow in the dark sea grass. Vivian rushes back from Korea to see this scene and sees Ryan who has rented a boat to see the scenery. In the boat she says that a female doesn't necessary want a guy that is successful but one that stands by her side (flashback of Ryan doing things for Vivian silently). Ryan kisses Vivian who reciprocate the kiss.
- 150 The Boss sister signs a bad contract and needs someone to take the blame. The sister blames Ko Hiu-san. Ryan show up and says they need Ko Hiu-san and that Boss needs to make right decision. He makes his sister responsible and to explain the unfair contract she signed. Brief showing of Vivian/Ryan dating and we find out Ryan liked her the first time he saw her and has been waiting for her to notice him for 1 year.
My Thoughts so far:
Actually to my surprise I actually liked this series. They probably just could have just called it "Dinner at Eight" since I never understood why they bother to call it Come Home Love beside trying to keep the popularity it once had. It is totally a unrelated story line to the original. Although I did find it cute that Terry and KC continued in this series but just as different characters but same loyalty. I like that Ryan got together with Wan Fei Fei and didn't make her stuck on Koo Hiu-san. I felt they are trying to pair everyone up so eventually if they can end this show where no one is really left out but I'm sure they can change it if they wanted to.
Interesting fact is "Off Pedder - 畢打自己人" was the spin off of "Best Selling Secrets - 同事三分親" In that sitcom Wayne character (Koo Hui-san) and Teresa character (Lam Siu Siu) ended up together. "Dinner at Eight" is almost like a parallel universe where most of the characters are in other sitcoms we see.
I just wonder how long this series will last considering Come Home Love was 995 episodes with 190 of it being part 2 with a spin off of different characters in a fitness center retaining the show's name which was the part where I stopped watching. "Dinner at Eight" is sort of like a part 3 but not really. It has its own uniqueness. What do you think of the show so far?
